• Optimization is performed over the 42 PALS sites
• As pseudo-obs the ORCHIDEE-WET global simulation is used (1°-resolution, drived by ERA5, 2010-2016)
• The data for particular site (fwet and fCH4) are extracted using the nearest neighbor search by lat/lon coordinates
• The mean seasonal cycle at monthly frequency is used during the optimization
